Frequently Asked Questions
Questions and Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to receive Aveline?
Typically between 5 to 10 days via FedEx Ground. We will send you an email with your tracking details as soon as your order ships.
How do returns work?
You have a full 100 nights from when you first receive Aveline to return with no return shipping or restocking fees. Also since Aveline comes compressed, expecting customers to fit it back into its original box is well… not so practical. :-)
Don’t worry. Either we’ll schedule a pick-up or arrange with you to have it delivered or picked-up by a local charity.
Return requests should be emailed to email@example.com. Please write “Aveline” in the subject line to assist us in expediting the request.
Is it easy to setup?
Very easy. Aveline comes compressed, rolled and boxed.
Simply place the box in the room where you intend to unroll.
Open the box carefully (without using a boxcutter). Position the bedroll on your bed base, platform, or box spring and tear away the plastic wrapping.
It takes between 2 to 4 hours to unroll and decompress most of the way, and a day to decompress fully.
What kind of foundation is suggested?
As long as the base is stable and sturdy enough to support the mattress and sleeper(s), then you’re good to go. Just make sure that if you are placing on a slatted platform bed, that the space between slats is no more than three inches. Placing Aveline directly on a smooth floor also works.
If you do use a box spring, please make sure it doesn’t have weak or uneven areas as this can affect how Aveline feels. Placing a 1 to 3” flat wooden board on top of an older box spring is a cost affordable option to purchasing a new box spring.
Do I need a mattress protector?
Up to you. But a waterproof, hypo-allergenic protector made of breathable fabric is recommended.
